Description
A plant tray protects shelves and floors from pot moisture while giving planters a stable base. Stone itself can develop water marks or staining if moisture remains trapped, so use a watertight inner saucer, keep the planter raised slightly and wipe overflow promptly. Choose a tray wider than the pot base but not excessively large; a strong flat design can also work as a small display shelf when its supports are properly engineered.
