Description
Marble cladding is a stone-facing system used to give walls, columns and façades a natural-stone surface without constructing the entire wall from stone. Panel thickness and fixing method depend on size, height, substrate and exterior exposure, with large pieces often requiring engineered mechanical restraint. Cladding itself is not a substitute for waterproofing; exterior and wet-area assemblies need proper membranes, drainage and joints behind the stone, while textured finishes perform well where a lower-reflection architectural look is wanted.
